What’s New in Celiac Disease News? Summary: Urine and Stool Samples May Offer Additional Monitoring Method for Children with Celiac Disease on a Gluten-Free Diet

A recent study evaluated the prevalence of detectable gluten immunogenic peptides (GIPs), which are resistant to digestion and are excreted through the stool and urine, to gauge accidental gluten exposure and adherence to a gluten-free diet in children with celiac disease in the United States.
